The plunging neckline and short skirt were meant for a bunny suit to be worn underneath (not included).
I am a professional costumer, and I strive to create work as close to industry standard as I can at home. As such, the seams are finished with an overlock, and the piece is easily tailored at the sides, sleeves, and waist. The fur trim is detachable via snap tape for washability (I recommend washing the fur at home and sending the dress to the dry cleaner).
The outside is real velvet, so it needs to be treated with care. There are a few places where the nap has been crushed, but may come out after a dry cleaning. The spot at the right side seam can easily be covered with a belt, and the spot on the neckline can be covered with more fur trim (like it was supposed to be but I never got around to it). The cuffs didn't fit quite right because it was my first pass at making them.
Definitely a project that needs to go to an intermediate to expert sewist! All of the fabric can be found at Joann.
Comes from a smoke-free household, but I do have a cat. Normally, I would offer to wash a piece before sending it out, but due to the nature of this fabric, I will not be able to do that. No refunds or exchanges, this piece is being sold as is.
