Hello there! Selling a handmade Captain Hook costume lightly inspired by the 2003 Peter Pan film with Jason Isaacs as Hook. This fabulous costume was worn only once and consists of multiple parts which are all included in the listing:
-Red puffy undershirt (cotton with ribbon ties)
-Puffy pants (burgundy velvet with ribbon ties)
-Decorative vest (burgundy velvet, various gold trims, fully lined with cotton and linen)
-1770-80s inspired Pirate coat (burgundy velvet, various gold trims, embroidered collar/sleeve details, vintage inspired buttons, fully lined in cotton)
-simple neckerchief (red cotton)
-Feathered hat (straw hat base, burgundy velvet, gold trim details, red and black ostrich feathers)
The following pieces are also included but were not handmade:
-Pleather boots (roughly US women’s 8-8.5)
-Curly brown wig (uncut lace and unused wig cap/net)
-Facial hair prosthetics (unused with separate double sided prosthetic tape)
*please note the costume does not include the hook hand (which was made very last-minute out of literal cardboard and cheap paint so it didn’t survive being packed away)
The costume was made for a US medium woman (approximately US woman 8-12). This would probably also fit US small-medium men, but please message me if you want specific measurements. Many of the elements are adjustable with ties and lacing, however the coat itself is not adjustable and would likely not comfortably fit larger sizes.
The hat fits snugly, and may be a little uncomfortable with the thick wig as well. I would recommend trying a less-voluminous wig or thinning the wig. If you happen to have more skill at hat work than I do, feel free to take a stab at opening it up a bit!
The price is negotiable, but do keep in mind the costume was handmade. I hope this costume finds its new home with someone who will treasure and enjoy it :)
